The existing RTA Metro Map assigns the station the designation R19 (Red Line) and G26 (Green Line). RTA also states that BurJuman is one of the two stations with the Red and Green lines. 

Where Is Burjuman Metro Station?

The station will be located in the area of Bur Dubai, in the vicinity of Khalid Bin Al Waleed Street and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street. Residential, commercial, and retail areas are established in the surrounding area.

How to Change Between the Red and Green Lines

The station does not need to change on the platform.

Once off the train, follow the signs to the desired line. The interchange is part of the Metro network,k and this should not be done for the purpose of changing between the two lines.

This is important as it can transform a simple transfer into a new entry/exit event if the area is passed outside the paid area.

If using Metro and bus services, RTA says that transfers may be completed within 30 minutes, as per their fare and transfer policies.

Metro Fares From BurJuman

Dubai Metro has a fare system based on zones. RTA has split Dubai’s public transport system into seven zones, with the final price depending on the number of zones traversed. 

The current RTA fare for a standard Silver nol card is:

Burjuman Metro Station Exits and Directions

Visitors heading towards the mall should not only rely on an exit number but instead follow the Metro signage inside BurJuman Mall on Level G, near the Carrefour entrance.
